Saigirishwar Rohit Geddam is a highly motivated graduate student at North Carolina State University who is currently seeking summer’23 internships. He is a passionate software developer with a keen interest in building web applications that can make people's lives easier. Rohit has a creative mind and enjoys solving problems using code. He believes that in this internet age, one only needs a laptop, internet, and a creative mind to come up with solutions that can change people's lives. Currently, Rohit works as a Software Engineer Intern at gramfactory, where he is actively involved in the product development cycle of the dynamic CMS cards module. He has developed APIs for the dynamic cards service using Python (Django Rest Framework) and implemented caching strategies to improve average API response time by 77%. He has successfully completed the module employing SDLC best practices. Rohit has also worked as a Software Developer for the Government of Chattisgarh, where he built a gym management system for the police performance center. He actively organized meetings with clients to cater to their evolving software needs. He developed the REST APIs in Python (Django) and implemented UI in Javascript (React). He delivered high-quality software with 100% client satisfaction following SDLC processes. As a Software Engineer Intern at Fossee, Rohit led the development of an open-source web-based electronic circuit simulator app that enables students to perform lab experiments in their web browser. He performed brainstorming to come up with an efficient system design that can scale up easily. He created backend scripts in Python for generating component images required for drawing electronic circuits by parsing 5000+ KiCad component library files. He built dynamic UI components, including circuit grid and component sidebar, in Javascript (React). Rohit holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT), Durg. He also completed his Intermediate +1 +2 from VelocIITy Junior College. His technical skills include Software Engineering, Python, Django, Web Development, Javascript, UI, and Backend Development. Rohit has 2.77 years of relevant experience and is eager to continue developing his skills and making a positive impact through his work.
